TERMS OF CONDITION

The general terms and conditions of business and contract regulate the business relationship between the cat care «Kiki Cat» (hereinafter referred to as «Kiki Cat») and the animal owner (hereinafter referred to as the client) and are considered binding at the latest when the order is definitively placed with «Kiki Cat». «Kiki Cat» undertakes to carry out an order placed to the best of its knowledge and belief and in agreement with the client.

Data protection

All data is treated as strictly confidential. During the care period, «Kiki Cat» undertakes not to grant anyone access to the client's premises. In the event of an emergency, such as a visit to the vet, «Kiki Cat» may pass on relevant information to the vet.

Liability

The client is liable for any damage caused by the client's animals to third parties, animals or other property.

Prevention

The written order placed by the client is binding. Cancellation of care is possible free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of care by telephone, SMS or Whatsapp. After this time, 50% of the service will be charged as a cancellation fee. «Kiki Cat» is free to use a trustworthy person of their choice in the event of a possible prevention to performe the care by herself.

Keys and access data

«Kiki Cat» undertakes to return all house keys and access data (alarm systems, cards, codes) at the end of the contract. Confidential and careful handling is guaranteed.

Care times

If possible, «Kiki Cat» will take into account the care times requested by the client. The exact care time is only guaranteed if sensitive medication must be guaranteed.

Damage

If, contrary to expectations, damage occurs that is proven to have been caused by «Kiki Cat», this is covered by the business insurance. No liability is accepted for damage, e.g. to parquet floors and carpets, caused by vomit, feces, urine, blood (prey brought in by cats), etc.. Similarly, no liability is accepted for outdoor cats and any accidents they may cause. No liability is accepted for damage caused by cleaning staff and any other persons involved.

Illness or accident

In the event of illness or accident of the pets in care, the client will be informed immediately and the veterinarian listed in the order form will be contacted; if it is not available, either the veterinarian of trust of «Kiki Cat» or the Zurich Animal Hospital will be contacted. The associated costs shall be borne in full by the client.

Prevention of the return journey

If the return journey of the client is not possible, this must be reported immediately to «Kiki Cat». The organization of the further care of the pets is the responsibility of the client. If possible and desired, «Kiki Cat» will continue to take care of the pets, taking into account the applicable prices and conditions.

Blocked day

If a blocked day (day off) of «Kiki Cat» falls within the care period, the client is obliged to organize further care for the pets.

Obligations of the client

The client must ensure that sufficient food, cat litter and cleaning utensils are available during the care period. If these have to be purchased additionally by «Kiki Cat», the costs shall be borne by the client against receipt.

Information about the pet

The client undertakes to pass on all important information on the care and health of the pets to «Kiki Cat».
